Demolition

When faced with the dilemma of how to safely maintain the integrity of a historic façade and build a new structure incorporating this, our vast engineering and bracing knowledge allowed this to happen. Our knowledge of structural integrity allows us to also offer underpinning and shoring of building foundations.

Concrete

Building concrete takes many different forms, all of which we have experience with. Foundations, poured walls, slab on grade, slabs on deck, supported slabs, and site paving are all included in our packages. From the small retail building to the big box stores and everything in between, we have the manpower and equipment to tackle them. Projects with poured concrete walls and elevated slabs, on deck or supported, are completed within schedule due to our equipment and personnel. Many clients come to us to replace and repair their deteriorating parking lots and truck slabs as well as new installations of paving, sidewalks and curbs.

Structural Steel

Our long history of steel erection makes us very capable of providing services to erect just about any type of steel. From columns, beams, girder trusses, bar joist and metal deck, our skilled craftsmen and equipment are up to the challenge. Between exclusive access to erection equipment and our merit shop wages, we offer a competitive pricing package for projects.

Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)

Our long history of steel erection aids us in the field of Pre-Engineered Structures. From our dealer agreement with Nucor Building Systems to our erection experience with most of the building manufacturers, we offer a competitive alternative to conventional building. Design flexibility and lead times allow for a quicker occupancy of the building. Whether for small retail or large industrial building, PEMB offer a viable solution.

Industrial Renovation

Industrial renovations can take many forms. From new process equipment within a facility, to renovations of interior spaces, to additions to existing facilities, C.T. Taylor takes the lead. We minimize the disruption to your current operations thru careful planning and scheduling our work, weekly progress meetings and thorough involvement of our project managers, superintendents and craftsmen. With over 200 years of combined experience, we are able to come up with unique solutions to some of the difficult items encountered during renovations.

Tilt-Up & Pre-Cast Concrete

Our long history of steel erection and concrete projects aids us in the field of Tilt-Up and Pre-Cast concrete. C.T. Taylor is able to partner with suppliers of Pre-Concrete plank and wall panels to supply a turnkey operation. Whether for a school or an industrial building, we have the experience to complete almost any sized project. Services include setting the Pre-cast, grouting of it, and even topping the plank for a slab.

We excel in Tilt-Up concrete, as the panels are poured on slabs previously poured, which allows for larger panel sizes, more opening and increased customization of the panels, either colors, rustification or inlays. We review the engineering of the panels, provide the necessary reinforcement, lifting equipment and insulation and pour the panels. Once cured, the panels are “tilted” into place and secured to the structural framing system, all of which is handled by our craftsmen.
